Jonathan moves against Obasanjo
Abuja - For daring to criticize his administration and
rubbish him as a non- performing president, President Goodluck Jonathan
is set to move against former President Olusegun Obasanjo, reports
NewsDay.
President Jonathan and some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are been working round the clock on how to subject Obasanjo to ridicule.
One of strategies being planned by the Presidency to rubbish the former president is by revisiting the probe of the $13.278billion power projects which were executed between 1999 and 2007 when Obasanjo was in office.
The Presidency has ordered that the report of the House of Representatives Committee on Power and Steel on the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) should be retrieved to see whether Obasanjo was indicted.
Aside the report, one of the daughters of the ex-President is under investigation over alleged deals with a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and the Presidency during the same period.
