Army spokesman says 200 girls rescued today are not Chibok girls
The army tweeted yesterday evening that they can't confirm if Chibok girls were among the 200
girls they rescued from Sambisa forest today, that they will know after
they screen and profile the rescued girls. But now Reuters, AP and
Al-Jazeera are reporting that an Army Spokesperson has confirmed Chibok
girls are not among the 293 girls and women rescued today.
Army spokesman Col. Sani Usman told The Associated Press that troops destroyed and cleared four militant camps and rescued 200 abducted girls and 93 women "but they are not the Chibok girls." (Let's wait for official confirmation from Army Spokesperson, Olukolade).
